Activist and attorney Dele Farotimi revealed that despite Babalola’s announcement of withdrawing the case against him, he still faces four separate lawsuits filed by Aare Afe Babalola’s law firm .
Farotimi made this revelation in a Sunday interview with Toyin Falola.
He stressed that his book, Nigeria and its criminal justice system, is not an attack on individuals, but a criticism of corruption within the judiciary.

“I can’t talk about some aspects of this issue, and it’s the fact that despite the suspension of the criminal proceedings, I still have four lawsuits, in four different states of the federal government, I know, filed by members. My people have the same legal office,” Fallotimi revealed.
He insisted that his book was written in pursuit of justice rather than personal vendetta.

“Chief AFE Babalola is old enough to be my father. I have no intention of destroying this person or destroying his image. There is no individual. I am writing about the institutions of the judiciary,” he said.
Farotimi criticizes those who have not read books and label their behavior as intellectually lazy.
He believes that Nigerians must interact with uncomfortable truths if the country is to experience meaningful reforms.
