Fashion entrepreneur based in Lagos, Sopta Sopta, owner Sophie Couture, has passed away.
Her family announced her death in a statement posted on the Instagram page today on March 5.
The statement calls her d3ath “irreparable loss.” However, the cause of her death has not been explained.

She is more than just a leader, she is the core and soul of the brand, infusing every design, decision and moment with her infinite passion, creativity and unwavering dedication. In addition to her outstanding achievements, Sophie’s kindness, warmth and infectiousness touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Although her absence leaves an immeasurable gap, her memories will continue to inspire us to guide us as we respect her dreams and push her horizons forward.
