Former Ekiti Governor Ayodele Fayose revealed that Oyo Governor Seyi Makinde will not compete for the presidency in 2027.
Naija News According to reports, Feso revealed that Makinde personally told him that he would not allow himself to use with President Bola Tinubu in the upcoming elections.
Fayose was famous for his political appearance on channel TV on Friday, where he shared details with Governor Oyo.
According to Fayose, he saw ads on social media about a potential presidential bid for Makinde. In response, Fayose contacted Makinde, who assured him that he had no plans to serve as president.
Fayose said, “When I saw an ad on social media and responded to all the respect Makinde had, I forwarded it to him and he called me and said he didn’t run and knew nothing about those flyers. He didn’t tell me.
“I won’t speak in his mouth; I will believe everything he told my brother. He told me that he wouldn’t use Yoruba as president against Yoruba. I stand here and say Makinde won’t run for president, unless there is any change.”
