
First City Monument Bank (FCMB) has expanded its footprint with the launch of a new branch in Ogbomosho. Officials said the move will promote financial inclusion and economic development. The branch is located along Ogbomosho-ilorin Road and opened on March 12 at a ceremony attended by local leaders.
During the inauguration, Oba Ghandi Olaoye of Ogbomosho described the new bank branch as a welcome development, saying the existence of the First City Memorial Bank would help local businesses grow.

We expect FCMB’s innovative approach will enable our citizens and businesses to receive important financial services and support, enabling us to successfully achieve our 25-year development plan. Ogo-Oluwa Local Government Chairman Seun Ojo, respected Ojo, echoes a similar view. He recognized the existence of FCMB as a valuable addition to enhancing financial inclusion on Ogbomosho lands and urged the bank to expand its coverage to more communities to strengthen the local economy.
