    FCMB opens branches in Ogbomosho to boost local economy

    FCMB opens branches in Ogbomosho to boost local economy

    First City Monument Bank (FCMB) has expanded its footprint with the launch of a new branch in Ogbomosho. Officials said the move will promote financial inclusion and economic development. The branch is located along Ogbomosho-ilorin Road and opened on March 12 at a ceremony attended by local leaders.
    During the inauguration, Oba Ghandi Olaoye of Ogbomosho described the new bank branch as a welcome development, saying the existence of the First City Memorial Bank would help local businesses grow.
    “This marks a critical moment in our town. We expect FCMB’s innovative approach will enable our citizens and businesses to receive important financial services and support, enabling us to successfully achieve our 25-year development plan. We are eager to work with FCMB and look forward to the possibility of more beneficial branches in Ogbomosho, thus creating a mutually beneficial family who stands out in “him.”

    Ogo-Oluwa Local Government Chairman Seun Ojo, respected Ojo, echoes a similar view. He recognized the existence of FCMB as a valuable addition to enhancing financial inclusion on Ogbomosho lands and urged the bank to expand its coverage to more communities to strengthen the local economy.
    Mrs. Yemisi Edun, managing director of First City Monument Bank, said by the bank’s national sales director, Mrs. Emmanuel Comla, the bank remains committed to including inclusive growth.
    She said: “We are delighted to invest in the future of Ogbomoso. This is a city known for its hard work. In Kabiyesi Under Olaoye, Ogbomoso has a clear 25-year growth plan and we are proud to be part of that vision. Digital banking is the growth of the industry, developing the growth of every person in every way, making our growth foster the growth of the community, and promoting new opportunities in the community and creating new opportunities. You.”

    Mr. Ademola Idowu, head of group operations and international trade services at the bank, revealed that the branch is equipped with modern banking technology and operates renewable energy. He highlighted how it will support commercial and trade growth in and around Ogbomoso.
    First City Monument Bank, a subsidiary of FCMB Group, continues to invest in financial services that promote economic inclusion and development.
