    • A schoolgirl has gone viral on TikTok after she shared her horrifying encounter with an unidentified insect she found on her bed, which reportedly crawled on her while she slept.
    • The incident troubled her and she sought answers online.

A student’s account of a terrifying encounter when she found a strange insect on her bed has attracted widespread attention online.

The woman, identified as @LifeofFarah on TikTok, revealed the incident happened after she returned from a stressful lecture on Monday. According to her, the bug crawled on her while she was sleeping.

Seeking answers, she turned to her followers to help her identify the creature, noting that the experience left her shaking and unable to sleep afterwards.

In a video post that has received more than 50,000 likes, the student explained that she initially thought the insect was a cockroach or a gecko, before realizing it was something completely different.

Her post sparked reactions from netizens, many of whom expressed concern and shared advice on hygiene, pest control and possible health risks.

    ‎Her post is as follows…

‎POV: You were sleeping after a busy class on Monday and then I felt something walking on me and thought it was a cockroach. Then I saw an unknown insect. What do we call it? I don’t suffer for this school either. If it wasn’t a gecko, it was a cockroach, or a lizard that turned into a snake, and imagine sleeping in the same room with it.

I couldn’t even close my eyes because it felt like it was all over my body. I don’t cry either. I’m not tired of these stupid things.

In other news… A Nigerian man has publicly defended his wife after she was the target of harsh criticism on TikTok following the release of their traditional introduction video.

According to the husband, some social media users posted numerous damaging accusations in the comments section, labeling his wife a “street girl.” He called the comments frustrating, unnecessary and deeply unfair.

In response to the backlash, the man urged critics to stop projecting their frustrations onto others, saying those who are unhappy with their lives should not try to ruin the happiness of others online. He expressed shock that a grown man would engage in what he described as defamation of character.

He further warned that making sensitive and defamatory claims without evidence is dangerous and unacceptable. The man added that he remained calm because his wife was not affected by the accusations, noting that he would have taken action if she had been disturbed by the accusations.

He emphasized his trust in his wife, explaining that they had dated for several years and she had never given him any reason to doubt her character.
