The federal government launched the largest enforcement action against Kenyan Airlines through the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).

The airline’s violations include refusing to make an official apology to Nigerian traveler Gloria Omisore within 48 hours, refunds and compensation for Nigerian travelers.
According to NCAA’s director of public affairs and consumer protection, Michael Achimugu, the airline requested an hour to extend the company after 48 hours, but failed to comply with the agency’s needs.
Achimugu revealed this in an article on Saturday X, adding that the airline has not been able to send a compliance report on scheduled flights, which was delayed for seven hours without compensation for passengers.

“When the airline was face to face with the phone, its team claimed to be ignorant of NCAA regulations and wanted to know how the company would operate abroad without needing to assist in the relevant laws.
“To this end, we are organizing retreats for all airlines that are learning and re-learning in Part 19 of the NCAA regulations for 2023,” Achimugu said.
FG approves N758 billion bonds to clarify pension liabilities
The Federal Executive Committee (FEC) has approved the Debt Management Office to raise 758 billion guild bonds to clear all pension liabilities of pensioners.
Finance Minister and Economic Coordination Minister Wale Edun introduced this to journalists at the end of the Council meeting, chaired by President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa of Abuja.
