The report has appeared, exposing Kogi Central Group behind this lifting to recall Senator Natasha Akpoti-uduaghan as an unregistered entity without legal recognition.
A letter from the Company Affairs Commission (CAC), dated March 27, 2025, confirmed that the Kogi Central Political Boundaries, one of the major groups leading the recall process, did not appear in the committee’s records.
The letter received Thursday said there were no registered political institutions or stressful groups.
“Please inform that the exact name ‘Kogi Central Political Boundaries’ is not recordable in the entity registered by the Commission.,” reads the letter.
This revelation has raised serious concerns about the legitimacy of the recall movement against Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan, who has been trapped in a strong political opposition since taking office. It also questioned the credibility of the people behind the campaign, as their legal status is now questioned.
It is worth recalling that INEC signed by its secretary in a letter dated March 26 Mrs. Ross Oran Anthonysay it has Forward notification Senator Natasha and replicates leadership of the National Assembly led by the Senate President Godswill Akpabioconfirming that the committee has begun recalling the lawsuit against her.
The INEC statement said the notice complies with Article 69 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Notification reading: “Under Article 69 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (amended), I write to receive a petition from the representative of your constituency registered voters in order to seek a recall from the Senate.
“The notice complies with Article 2(a) provisions and recall guidelines under the Commission, 2024.
“The letter was also copied to the Senate moderator and was published on the committee’s website at the same time.”
