The affected structure was a two-panel residential building consisting of three-bedroom apartments and two-bedroom apartments. “Preliminary investigations show that the fire was first noticed by Mr Owarabi, who immediately reminded other residents. The mother and her child who were sleeping at the time were not harmed due to their quick response. The incident was traced to a strong surge.
“Kwara State Fire Department Chief Prince John expressed sympathy with the affected crew and always emphasized the importance of fire safety precautions.
