Security personnel in Katina successfully thwarted the kidnapping attempt, eliminated five suspicious bandits, and seized seven motorcycles in a coordinated operation involving police, the Casina State Community Watch Army (KSCWC) and local vigilance.
This effective ambush occurred in the village of Dutterson Worry in the Dandum Local Government area after reliable intelligence received by the Police Command.

The operation resulted in the elimination of five armed robber suspects and the recovery of seven surgical motorcycles – Honda and three boxers, used by criminals, as Sadiq said.
Later that day, at about 7:00 a.m., the Police Command obtained further information from the State Services Department (DSS) on the robber activities in the villages of Unguwar Adam and Danmusa LGA.
In response, Danmusa’s DPO organized another joint team, including police agents, KSCWC members and Vigilantes, to resolve the situation. The group had a fire with the criminals, successfully displaced them from their hideouts.
In this operation, three believed suspicious informants were arrested, and logistical assistance was believed to have been provided to the bandits. In addition, security forces have recovered two motorcycles and two bicycles from the site.
