Soldiers from the Jigava State Police Command arrested a Quranic teacher, Musa Wada.
Daily reports Nigeria collected the 45-year-old accused of killing a student at his Quranic school, Bashir Adamu, who repeatedly skipped the course.
This happened in Jikas-Dabaja village in Jigava state.
National Police Public Relations officials confirmed the arrest, and SP Lawan Shiisu Adam said the priest punished the boy and beat him to break down and die.
Fearing about what he did, he continued to dismember the boy, chop off his head and genitals, and then dump his remains on the side of the road.
To further cover up his crimes, he buried part of his dismemberment in his farmland.
Adam added that the suspect was arrested after torn on March 13, 2025.

Preliminary investigations show that on March 12, villagers found headless bodies along Jikas-Dabaja Road, causing police investigations to return to Quranic school in Wada.
The suspect has pleaded guilty to the crime and is currently in police custody.
