Football legend Luis Figo reportedly left his home and moved into a rental property and lived a “independent life” with his wife Helene Svedin.
It was after he attended the Spanish Lawres Award earlier this week, where he named the “best” thing of his life, where he named his daughters Daniela, Martina and Stella, but not his wife.
He has attended the awards ceremony for the Sedetin Company over the years, but this year he has been portrayed as a new residence left alone in Madrid.
According to El Concidencial, the former Real Madrid and Barcelona star has been living there for about a month.
Spanish media Vanitatis reported that both Figo and his wife Svedin are now “living independent lives.” However, the separation between the two was not formally confirmed.
Spanish publication Marca added that Figo had left his family residence in a short time three years ago.
The Portuguese legend is believed to have stayed at a friend-owned Wellington hotel before returning to his family residence in Madrid’s Salamanca.
Marca added Figo has links to model Claudia Bavel, who had previously claimed to be related to his former teammate Iker Casillas.
According to Marca, Figo, Bavel, Casillas and Real Madrid star Michel Salgado actually attended a brewery together, although the former has explicitly denied any reports of the relationship and described the claim as “trash” and threatened legal action for defamation.
Meanwhile, according to her Instagram, Seedding is in Majorca, not with her husband’s Lawrez Award.
Figo and Svedin have been together after meeting at a dinner since 1996.
The couple dated for five years before getting married, two years after their eldest daughter, Daniela.
Svedin has been competing in dressage for years and reportedly trains with her Raio.
Figo is considered one of the greatest players of his generation, featuring Barcelona, Real Madrid and Inter Milan, and won the Ballon d’Or in 2000.
