Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) arrested three suspicious notorious gunmen and restored weapons and ammunition in the village of Golgokodo in the Golgokodo capiondom, Jema’a local government area in Kadunana state.
The operation was conducted on May 8, 2025, followed by reliable intelligence that brought the troops to the suspect’s hiding place.
The suspects were identified as 65-year-old Adamu Musa; Lukman Isah, 35; and Umar Jammo, 25-year-old.
The items recovered from this operation include an AK-47 rifle, a gun, an AK-47 magazine, a round of 7.62mm (special) ammunition and three motorcycles.
The suspect is currently in custody and has made useful confessions to help further operations aimed at arresting other members of the criminal network and restoring additional weapons.
OPSH reiterated its commitment to working with the public and leverage viable intelligence to get rid of criminal areas and ensure a safe environment.
