Forces repel Boko Haram attacks police station in Borno

Operation Hadin Kai’s troops successfully repelled the alleged Boko Haram terrorist attack by the Malari Police Station of Boko State University.

The rebels launched an attack at around 1:00 am on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.

After receiving the call in distress, the troops quickly mobilized to hire terrorists and repel the attack.

State Police Department spokesman ASP Nahum Daso said the attackers tried to infiltrate the police department but were forced to retreat after a fierce gunfight.

Dassault said: “Yes, an attack was launched on the Marali Police Department, but no casualties were recorded.

He noted that the terrorists targeted police armored personnel carriers during the attack, damaged tires but did not destroy the vehicles.

“So far, no bodies have been recovered, but we are sure that one side of the insurgents is casualties.”

Daso, who guaranteed police forces were ready to prevent future attacks, said Malari had no civil authority before, but security has improved since deploying police crime teams.
