In recent news, the FCT Police Command said Mr. Paradan was found dead in a chair in a hotel room.
He was reportedly found like he was staying in his hotel room the next day, and there were rumors that he had a female guest before the incident.
In a statement released by FCT Police spokesman SP Josephine Adeh, the title is the misunderstanding response from FCT Police to the death of retired auditor General David Parradang,” it said.
On March 3, 2025, at about 12:00 pm, Mr. Paradan arrived at the Joy House Hotel at junction 3 and drove a black Mercedes-Benz. He checked in the hotel and paid for 22,000 stays.
Shortly after checking in, he asked a hotel waiter to escort a female guest to his room. The lady left the hotel around 4:00 pm the same day.
Mr. Paradan did not leave his room afterwards. At around 4:00 am on March 4, 2025, a friend who was worried about his health, traced him back to the hotel.
Upon arrival, the hotel receptionist and officers headed to his room, and they found Mr. Paradan dead and sitting in a chair.
The Durumi Police Department was notified and officials arrived soon to protect the area, take photos and collect relevant evidence to preserve the integrity of the investigation.
His body has been transferred to a national hospital for further examination, while hotel staff are working with police investigations.
Police also confirmed that efforts were being made to locate and arrest the female guest who had visited him last time.
The order also assured citizens that the investigation has begun and that all members related to the conspiracy will be arrested.
We urge the public and the media to avoid disseminating unverified information, including claims of kidnapping, which may cause fear or panic.
The FCT Police Command is committed to conducting a thorough investigation to reveal the death of Mr. Paradan and to ensure justice. ”
