Former Internal Affairs Minister Rauf Aregbesola has officially expelled the APC.

AregBesola, as two terminals of Ozan, led a faction in the APC, “Osun Progressives” (TOP), and later became the core of Omoluabi. group.
The group was accused of the failure of the APC in the Governor of Ossen in 2022.
On Sunday, under the leadership of AregBesola, the core group of Omoluabi announced his withdrawal from the APC and pointed out that the party’s influence in the state declined.
Shortly after that, APC issued a letter to inform Alegsora being deported.
According to this letter, the Party’s State Executive Committee reviewed the investigation results of the disciplinary group and ruled that AregBesola violated the interests of the APC.
The party said that his actions weakened his unity and violated the Constitution.
With this decision, Aregbesola is no longer considered to be members of APC and is prohibited from representing the party as any identity.
However, APC admits that he has strengthened the party’s role before suspected improper behavior.

“At the end of the investigation, the State Executive Committee (SEC) considered the report from the Disciplinary Committee.
“After careful consideration and suggestion of the investigation, the SEC decided to accept the advice of you immediately expel all the APCs of all progressive club conferences.
“This decision is based on the clear evidence of your actions, which destroys the unity and integrity of the party, violates the provisions of Article 21 of the APC Constitution, and instructs members’ behavior and discipline.
“Therefore, after the approval of the deportation, you no longer become a member of the APC. Therefore, you should not represent the party in any way in any way.”
