Former Nickelodeon child star Keanna Underwood has been identified as the victim of a fatal hit-and-run accident in Brooklyn, New York, that claimed her life early Friday morning.
The 33-year-old actress, who starred in the 2005 Nickelodeon series “All That,” was crossing the intersection of Pitkin Avenue and Mother Gaston Boulevard when she was hit by a gray vehicle, law enforcement sources told TMZ. The driver reportedly fled the scene after the accident.
Underwood suffered severe injuries to his head and torso and was dragged under the car for nearly two blocks before being left motionless on the road, sources said.
The New York City Police Department received a 911 call at approximately 6:49 a.m., and emergency personnel arrived quickly. However, Underwood was pronounced dead at the scene. As of the time of this report, no arrests have been made and the driver remains at large.
Kianna Underwood was also known for her roles in other Nickelodeon productions, including “Little Bill,” before retiring from television.
