Didi’s ex Make a band Singer Sara Rivers filed a lawsuit against him, accusing her of abuse during the MTV Reality series.
In the lawsuit, TMZ Hip HopRivers claims that the artist, formerly known as Puff’s father, suffered various forms of abuse that were broadcast to millions.
The lawsuit was filed by attorney Ariel Mitchell, highlighting the infamous “cheesecake” incident Make a Band 2Rivers and her group Dalle (DA Band) were forced to walk a few blocks to get Diddy’s dessert. She claims this is just one of many abuses.
Rivers also claimed that despite being married at the time, she was forced to sleep in the open bay with four male teammates and she was threatened with expulsion if she did not comply.
The lawsuit alleges MTV, Viacom and several former bad boy employees, including Diddy’s mother, Janice Combs, and his former assistant, Fonzworth Bentley.
She further claimed Diddy acted maliciously about her career, publicly dismantling the DA band while keeping most of her income on the show. Additionally, Rivers claimed Diddy had sexually harassed and assaulted her, accusing him of having once leaned her against the corner, stopped her from moving, and reached her through her breasts with his hands.
Didi’s legal team denied these claims, noting TMZ: “This is another example of false claims against Mr. Combs. No matter how many lawsuits are filed, Mr. Combs never sexually assaults or trafficking anyone (man or woman, adult or minor). We live in a world where anyone can file lawsuits for any reason. With the deadline for the New York Gender Motivation Violence Act expires tomorrow, it is clear that opportunists are eager to make a last-minute baseless statement. Mr. Combs still has confidence that he will win in court.”
