    • Ezinne Akudo talks about rumors about her marriage to football player Emmanuel Emenike.
    • In the viral interview, she explicitly denied these claims, marking them as completely wrong.
    • Akudo was surprised by the rumors, saying she was unaware of them until they surfaced.

Former Miss Nigeria and lawyer Ezinne Akudo finally posted a long-standing rumor about her former marriage to Nigerian footballer Emmanuel Emenike.

In a recent interview, the 2013 beauty queen firmly denied the claim, saying it was completely wrong and that she was just as surprised as everyone else when she first appeared.

“I’ve never actually solved it. But I’ve never been married.” She said.

The interviewer was obviously surprised by her reaction and tried to dig deeper. Ezinne doubled in her statement, adding:

“No, you’re kidding. That’s why I’m saying this answer will shock you. The person in question, I’ve never seen my life. I’ve seen him because I attended his wedding and his wife is someone I know.”

Social media users and bloggers have been narratives of marrying Miss Nigeria for years, then married former beauty queen Iheoma Nnadi. But Ezinne made it clear that she wasn’t that person.

She explained that at first, she laughed at the story, thinking it would disappear on its own, but that wasn’t the case.

“It’s been going on for many years now… The story was first released, and I thought it was a joke. But then it kept popping up every few years. I never knew the story would stick to it like it. If you googled it, it’s like a confirmed truth. But I’ve never been married, never divorced, and I’ve never met anyone in doubt.

Her clarification was widely praised, and many viewers applauded her, finally speaking and keeping the record.
