Former WWE star Michael Droese was arrested after allegedly trying to buy images of indecent children on the dark web. According to the Daily Star, a well-known wrestler in the 1990s tried to use cryptocurrency to access the material, but the FBI was dismissed from his plan. Michael Droese, known as Duke’The Dustster during the WWE, was charged with one count of attempted charges. Warren County District Attorney General Chris Stanford revealed the news in a statement that read: “Purchasing child sexual assault materials is a serious crime because the money used to purchase the material is to continue to enable the child sexual assault substance to be profitable for the crime business and sell it globally. “However, the charges became an attempted criminal attempt because Mr. Droes was not successful in ensuring the child sexual assault materials he intended to purchase. Therefore, it was decided to charge one count of sexual exploitation of an attempted minor. If convicted, Droes faces two to four years in prison.
