    Four people were arrested for police foil’s two attempts to kidnap in Kwara

    The Kwawa State Police Department foiled two attempts of kidnapping and arrested four suspects linked to Ifelodun and Baruten local government areas in the state.

    Through intelligence-driven operations, operators from the state’s criminal investigation department (anti-kidnapping Squad) successfully tracked the identified phone numbers, resulting in the arrest of two suspects. They are Tukur Muhammad and Yahaya Abdullahi.

    During a thorough trial, the suspect admitted to placing his contact information from the victim’s residence to establish communication and coerce ransom. Further investigations uncovered a pattern of criminal activity that showed that suspects have been using multiple phone numbers to threaten and blackmail unsuspecting individuals. The suspect has been prosecuted and remanded in one of a correctional facility in the state. ”
