Eligibility Criteria for the Francophone Canada Scholarship Program
To be eligible for the Canadian Francophone Scholarship Program CFSP, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Required language: French
- Eligible countries: Egypt, Lebanon, Tunisia, Morocco, Djibouti, Mauritania, Comoros and other countries are from Africa.
- Identified and selected candidates can apply for university studies, master’s and doctoral degrees, technical and vocational training or short-term internships.
- Targeted institutions in recipient countries conduct internal recruitment campaigns to identify qualified candidates who are best positioned to help strengthen the capabilities of their institutions upon their return.
- Clinical training in pharmacy, medicine and dentistry is not included.
- Candidates are selected through a quota system in each recipient country. The quota approach allows recipient countries to determine their own training priorities and the level of training required for the development of their institutions.
