    The Francophone Canada Scholarship Program is currently open. In this article, we explain the scholarship program in detail, its benefits, and the step-by-step application process.

    Francophone Canada Scholarship Program 2023/24 is a fully funded scholarship for international students. This scholarship is available for master’s and doctoral studies. This scholarship provides an average of $35,000 per year.

    The Francophone Canada Scholarship Program (GASP) is a scholarship program designed to build organizational capacity by training workers in francophone developing countries. This project is fully funded by the Canadian government and has been entrusted to manage the project by the Canadian International Education Bureau/Canada World University Service Alliance since January 1, 2015.

    The long-term goal of the program is to encourage development in recipient countries by prioritizing:

    • Improve the skills of higher education personnel in the fields of education and research.
    • Training of trainers, especially in the field of technical and vocational education.
    • Improve and strengthen the skills of experts and managers in the public and private sectors.

    Scholarship Scope

    The Canadian Francophone Scholarship Program CFSP provides the following benefits to recipients:

    • Average annual fund amount: $35,000

    Eligibility Criteria for the Francophone Canada Scholarship Program

    To be eligible for the Canadian Francophone Scholarship Program CFSP, applicants must meet the following criteria:

    • Required language: French
    • Eligible countries: Egypt, Lebanon, Tunisia, Morocco, Djibouti, Mauritania, Comoros and other countries are from Africa.
    • Identified and selected candidates can apply for university studies, master’s and doctoral degrees, technical and vocational training or short-term internships.
    • Targeted institutions in recipient countries conduct internal recruitment campaigns to identify qualified candidates who are best positioned to help strengthen the capabilities of their institutions upon their return.
    • Clinical training in pharmacy, medicine and dentistry is not included.
    • Candidates are selected through a quota system in each recipient country. The quota approach allows recipient countries to determine their own training priorities and the level of training required for the development of their institutions.

      • Latest resume;
      • Institutional/Individual Needs Questionnaire (sent to qualified applicants only);

      • Certified copies of diplomas and transcripts;
      • Recommendation form;
      • Certified copies of passport and birth certificate.
