Nigeria’s renowned gospel singer Frank Edwards recently paid tribute to her mother during her Mother’s Day celebrations, thanking her for her key role in shaping his music career.
Edwards tells a big moment when he was about to reach a $320,000 deal with a group aiming to acquire the entire music catalog. His mother firmly opposed the agreement and asserted that the value of the 150,000 she invested in helping him start a studio was more valuable than the proposed payment, which underscores the importance of patience and divine consistency.
To prevent Edwards from continuing to make a deal, she arrived at his international passport to make sure he could not travel to complete the arrangement. Frank Edwards, reflecting on his mother’s actions, admitted that he initially tried to understand her views and questioned how her modest investment exceeded the massive offer.
Now, in hindsight, Edwards acknowledges the wisdom in his mother’s lawyers. He believes that she unwaveringly believes and guides his current success, pointing out that none of her words failed because she truly heard from God. Edwards thanked his mother in a heartfelt tribute for being an indestructible wall of fire and always conveyed God’s intentions for his efforts.
