    • A woman close to Nollywood star Frederick Leonard has claimed that his marriage to actress Peggy Orville ended because of disrespect and not infidelity.
    • Paige chose to speak out after she suggested cheating was the reason their marriage fell apart.
    • The woman had previously remained silent out of respect for Frederick and Peggy.

A woman who claims to be close to Nollywood star Frederic Leonard has sparked fresh controversy online by claiming that his marriage to actress Peggy Orville ended because of disrespect and not infidelity.

The woman explained that she remained silent for a while out of respect for both parties. However, she decided to speak out after Paige allegedly suggested cheating was to blame for the breakdown of her marriage.

According to her, Frederick was the one who opted out of the union, insisting that no third parties were involved.

“Freddie ended the marriage. It was not the other way around. There was no deception at all.” she said.

She went on to claim that the real problem in the relationship was what she described as Peggy’s lack of compliance and repeated disrespectful behavior.

The woman also claimed that Frederic deliberately avoided speaking negatively about his wife. She recounted a conversation in which he reportedly told her that the marriage was irrevocably broken down, not because Peggy was a bad person but because her ways were “very Western.”

Additionally, she questioned Peggy’s decision to allegedly remove Frederick’s last name from her social media pages just weeks before the accusations were made public.

“Since the marriage is over, why harm his reputation? Why try to humiliate him? He has never come out to say anything bad about you.” she said.

Not long ago, Paige shared a series of cryptic posts online involving married men and married women, which many social media users believed were directed at her husband.

The latest statement caused different opinions on social platforms, with some netizens supporting Page, while others expressed support for Frederick Leonard.

As of the time of filing this report, neither Frederick Leonard nor Peggy Orville have officially responded to the new allegations.
