
Turkey’s Galatasaray Football Club accused Jose Mourinho of making “racist remarks” and said it will be drawn against the 0-0 Super Road G lottery on Monday, February 24 Manager Fenerbahce filed a criminal lawsuit.
Mourinho said that while it is not clear what statements Galatasaray refers to, Mourinho said the home team’s bench “jumps like a monkey” if the Turkish referee is in charge, The game will be a disaster.
Both clubs have asked foreign officials to be held responsible for the fierce derby match, which was tried on Monday by Slovenian Slavko Vincic.

Galatasaray said on X that Mourinho has been sending “derogatory statements” to the Turkish people since he played his role in the league.
“Today, his words gradually escalated with immoral comments, and he said unceremoniously,” the club said.
“We hereby formally announce our intention to initiate a criminal lawsuit regarding the racist remarks made by Mourinho and should therefore file a formal complaint with UEFA and FIFA.”
Mourinho has been fined and suspended for his comments on Turkish game officials, and the Portuguese criticized the Turkish referee again in a press conference after the game.
“After the game, I went to the referee’s locker room. Of course, the fourth official was there, and it was the Turkish referee,” Mourinho said at a press conference.
“I told him (Vincic), ‘Thank you for being here because you were in a big game and you were in charge of a big game.
“Then I turned myself to the fourth officer and I (say) ‘This game, if you were the referee, this game would be a disaster.”
“When I talk about him, I say the general trend.”
Mourinho also praised Vinci for not giving defender Yusuf Akcicek a yellow card early in the game, although the bench on Galatari’s stage had animated reaction to the challenge.
“I also want to thank the referee because after the first minute of the big dive, there was a Turkish referee whose bench jumped like a monkey on the top of the child, the Turkish referee, one minute later, one minute later, you will have a yellow card I will have to change him in a few minutes,” he added.
