    The armed bandits had two policemen, four civilians, and two separate attacks were carried out in the village of Unguwar Baki and Sheme in the Faskari local government area of ​​Katsina State.

    Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that the first attack occurred around February 27, 2025 at 5:30 pm, when about 200 armed bandits attacked Unguwar Baki Village, occasionally firing fire.

    Intelligence sources show that the bandits also suffered huge losses when they fled several bodies on the motorcycle. “Bandits face strong resistance from security forces, many of whom were neutralized.

    In another attack on the town of Sheme, at around 1:50 a.m. on February 28, bandits armed with sophisticated weapons attacked the community in vain.

    Meanwhile, Hassan Bajoga Sheme, the commander of the local alert organization, was declared missing, and security forces launched search and rescue operations to locate him.

    Authorities assured residents that efforts are being stepped up to track attackers and rescue the kidnapped victims.
