The armed bandits had two policemen, four civilians, and two separate attacks were carried out in the village of Unguwar Baki and Sheme in the Faskari local government area of Katsina State.
Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that the first attack occurred around February 27, 2025 at 5:30 pm, when about 200 armed bandits attacked Unguwar Baki Village, occasionally firing fire.
The forces of fans, police and vigilant acted, quickly mobilized to get the attackers involved in the fierce gunfight. Security forces forced the bandits to retreat into the bushes, but suffered no casualties.
