China has slammed U.S. President Donald Trump for threats this week to remove the Gaza people from their homeland and move them to neighboring countries.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said at a press conference on Saturday, February 8 that Trump is not part of the United States in Gaza because Gaza does not belong to the United States.
Chinese spokesman reminds Trump that Gaza belongs to the Palestinian people, not the bargaining chips for political bargaining
“Gaza belongs to the Palestinian people. This is an inalienable part of the Palestinian territory, not a bargaining chip for the political Olympics,” he said.
“Especially for major countries, the international community should make Gaza better, not worse, by providing humanitarian assistance and helping it rebuild”.
He said China promised to support the legitimate national rights of the Palestinian people and believed that “Palestinians who rule Palestinians” were an important principle that must be maintained in post-conflict governance in Gaza and against forced displacement of the people.
He said: “China said: “Be prepared to cooperate with the rest of the world to achieve a two-state solution as the fundamental way forward and for the early, impartial political solution to the Palestinian issue, i.e., the establishment of an independent issue of the Palestinian state according to 1967 2019 border and sanctions with East Jerusalem as the capital. ”
