- Pastor Toby Adeboyega has sparked debate as he questions forgiveness, redemption and the challenges of living a sinless life after being forgiven.
- He noted that while God is forgiving, the existence of hell raises serious questions about how believers live after receiving forgiveness.

Controversial Nigerian pastor Tobi Adegboyega is sparking new reactions online after delivering a sobering message about forgiveness, heaven and humanity.
The British cleric spoke in a recent sermon that went viral, questioning common assumptions about the idea of salvation and guaranteed entry into heaven. He noted that while God is forgiving, the existence of hell raises serious questions about how believers live after receiving forgiveness.
“Our God is a forgiving God, but He created hell.” Adeboyega Sede.
He goes on to say that forgiveness alone does not automatically guarantee heaven, arguing that humans are still susceptible to sin after being forgiven.
“People who think they’re going to get to heaven: the only way to get to heaven is to be forgiven and die immediately, because it’s almost like a setup. You’re forgiven, but you maybe have 50 years left,“he said.
The pastor further questioned how believers can truly avoid sinning again during their lifetime, given human frailty and daily temptations.
“How can you avoid committing another crime in the future?” he asked.
In other news… A young woman named Don Christabel has tragically passed away under unknown circumstances, just days after she publicly mourned the loss of a close friend on social media.
Christabel shared a heartfelt tribute on Facebook, expressing her sadness at her friend’s untimely death. In her post, she reflected on the depth of their connection, describing her friend as someone who left this world too soon. The post ended up being her last message online.
She wrote:
“Della, in you I saw the true meaning of friendship. True friendship is rare and hard to find. I believe that wherever the sun shines now, her soul will rest in peace knowing that she was loved and cared for. Rest in peace 🪦 Get out into the sun. Rest in the Lord. Omo, they eat a lot. “
