Gov Fubara writes again about the river conference, proposes a budget introduction for 2025 on Wednesday

Rivers Governor Siminalayi Fubara wrote again to the Rivers State Capitol and was conveniently introduced by the House of Representatives at 11:00 a.m. on March 19 or at any other time.

In a letter to the spokesperson of the conference. honor. Forbala Governor Martin Amaewhule recalled his earlier attempt to propose a budget on March 12, which was unsuccessful due to being denied access to the conference venue.

Fubara said his attempt was in line with the Supreme Court’s judgment, which he noted also authorized the General Assembly to perform its functions within the constitutional scope.

He also reminded the spokesperson that the House had previously issued 48-hour final atum for budget introductions, even before he received a true copy of the certified verdict and registration order.

He urged all weapons of the Government to exercise their duties in the interests of the people within the framework of the law and the constitution.

“Whatever the depth of our differences, we believe that the interests of the country and the people should be prioritized over political conflicts,” he said.
