    Gov Otti promises to complete all Abia’s projects

    Abia Governor Alex Otti promised the government to work on completing every project it launched to ensure that abandoned projects become the state’s past.

    Speaking at the temporary ceremony of reconstruction and dualization of OWERRINTA-UMUEKEA ROAD 5.5 km, Otti stressed that his government received funds before carrying out any projects and ensured timely completion and quality execution.

    “Economic transformation across the country is at the heart of our governance agenda as a government. Therefore, development of road infrastructure is not only a priority, but a key measure of our progress in repositioning ABIA as a major destination for investment.” He said.

    Otti stressed that Owowrinta-Umuekea Road, with an 18-month completion schedule, will provide a seamless travel experience for commuters near IMO and Anambra states.

    Otti also pointed to a recent National Bureau of Statistics report that rated ABIA as one of the few states with zero debt to contractors, a achievement attributed to his government’s financial prudence.

    “Abia, I am happy to report that it is now one of the few states in the country with zero debt to contractors. I don’t say that, the National Bureau of Statistics said so.

    Otti reiterated the government’s commitment to infrastructure, dismissed the distinction between federal and state roads, insisting that every road within the Abia border is a priority.
