Employees at housing and urban development cafeteria were shocked when President Donald Trump played a weird video on TV screen Monday, February 24.
The video contains the word “real king” and President Trump kisses Elon Musk in the footage in front of an AI-generated footage.
HUD source shared footage of video playing on the cafeteria screen with Vox reporter Rachel Cohen, who posted it on social media.
It is unclear how the camera ended up appearing on the cafeteria TV screen, but a HUD spokesperson promised to take anyone accountable.
“Another wasted taxpayers’ funds and resources,” HUD spokesman Kasey Lovett told Dailymail.com.
Musk is the president’s special adviser and has spearheaded the administration’s efficiency for the Trump administration’s road plan.
Musk has increasingly angered government workers in his efforts to reduce employees, especially in the X owner, who is also a presidential adviser, demands that government employees achieve over the past week.
Emails with subject line “What did you do last week?” sparked anger from federal employees after asking them to answer “What did you do last week and about 5 bullets from your manager CC and your manager” . ”
Musk threatened in X’s post that failing to comply with the email’s instructions would be “considered as resignation.”
The deadline for the response ends on Monday, February 24.
Musk’s actions with federal government employees have inspired this anger, with workers protesting that he was an unelected dictator.
They asked Trump to fire the founder of the billionaire.
President Trump reiterated his support for Musk’s efforts to address waste, fraud and abuse.
Speaking at the Oval Office on Monday, Trump said he thought the emails sent to federal workers were “good”.
