Ahmadu Fintiri, the governor of Adamawa State, suspended Alhaji Hassan Ja’afaru indefinitely after allegations of corruption, discomfort, security violations and other crimes.
Ja’afaru, formerly a former regional head of Daware in the local government area, was found guilty after investigating his actions.
The suspension was included in a letter dated April 25, 2025, signed by Permanent Secretary Adama Mamman, Chief Affairs, and available for punching online on Sunday.
Part of the letter reads:After a series of complaints against you, crime, corruption, security violations, confiscation of farmland and creating vacuums, this has led to all traditional problems, which are due to the result of your not staying in your domain name, so I was executed by the executive of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Fintiri, I was quiinteriperiblesendiriped in to Indeftime Indeftime Offimenttime Dissefinefiend.
“So you are asked to hand over all government property you own to the scribes in the area until further action.”
Governor Fintiri repeatedly stressed his government’s commitment to fighting corruption in all sectors of the state, and vowed that no office holder would be held responsible.
