A group of suspected armed robbers attacked a Catholic priest in Ibadan.
According to reports, the pastor was identified as a pastor. Emmanuel Ogboli of the Catholic Church of San Felix, Orruyor, was robbed of the sum of N250,000 he withdraws from the bank.
This happened on Monday, April 14, 2025 along Ring Road in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Security analyst Zagazola Makama confirmed the incident and said the priest was riding a commercial motorcycle while resisting the thigh and shooting it on the thigh.
Police responded to distress calls received from the area and moved quickly to the site, where the victim was taken to the Holy Hospital Oluyole and then referred to Adeoyo State Hospital for further medical care.
However, police have launched an investigation and pursuit for the fleeing suspect.
