Gunner kidnapped Bishop Kukah's relatives and six people in Kaduna

The gunman reportedly kidnapped the Anchuna village of Chief Ikulu, including women and children, in the Zangon Kataf local government area of Kaduna State.

The attack took place on Wednesday night, March 5.

Armed attackers are said to have rushed into the village in large numbers and repeatedly fired before driving the victim away.

Samuel Kukah, a resident of the area, a family member of Bishop Hassan Kukah, a revival clergyman, confirmed the incident to The Daily Traus and pointed out that his younger brother Ishaya Kukah was the arrested person.

“My brother Isaya is the only male among the kidnappers; the rest are women and children, and the attacker launched the attack at about 11 p.m.,” he said.

Kuka added that the kidnappers had no links about ransom demand.

“We pray for their safety while waiting for any call,” he said.

He called on security agencies to take immediate action to ensure the safe return of victims, stressing that most of the kidnapped people are vulnerable.
