
Security agents have begun to carry out rescue operations for the kidnapped Ministry of Defense headquarters, Cynthia Akor, and two other people in the federal capital area.
On Friday night, March 21, the gunmen kidnapped Nigerian Navy officer Akor, a Nigerian Navy officer, along with two other residences at the headquarters of the Ministry of Defense, which are from the Mpape area of the FCT.
A source in anonymous condition told Punch on Saturday that the kidnapper had contacted the victim’s family
“About three people were kidnapped in the Mpape area on Friday night. DHQ official Akor was among them.
A security source told the publication that security operators, including police and troops, launched an operation to rescue victims.
“The rescue of her and others has begun and is underway. Police and soldiers are already on the ground,” the source said.
