Nigeria News Nalin Haruna Danzago, managing director of the Kano State Waste Management and Health Commission (Remasab), has passed away, the report said. After a prolonged illness, he died Thursday morning at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH) in Kano.
Danzago is a respected civil servant and fearless politician known for his significant contributions to the politics of Kano State. As head of Remasab, he played a key role in improving waste management and sanitation, ensuring clean streets and better sanitation standards for residents.
He was appointed Managing Director of Remasab by Governor Engineer on July 5, 2023. Abba Kabir Yusuf.
His death was considered a huge loss to the state of Kano and the entire country. Danzago survived by his wife and children. From now on, his family is expected to announce funeral arrangements in unison with the Islamic rituals.
