Nollywood Heartthrob Timini Egbuson sets records about his romantic life, refuting widespread rumors that he is a serial woman. In a candid conversation with Super Hawks’ Victor Boniface and comedian Bovi on the Cultural League podcast, the 38-year-old actor revealed that he has been actually single for nearly three years — his career has been demanding.
“Nollywood has no space for a playboy lifestyle”
Egbuson explains that his crowded scheduled dates, not to mention multiple relationships, are nearly impossible:
“People thought I was a feminine person, but I wasn’t. Nollywood has taken over my life in the last two to three years, and there aren’t too many rooms – unless you’re totally unpopular. Between exhausted all day and before 11pm, when I even have time to chat, I don’t have the ability to do that. I don’t have the idea of what people think.”

Despite the misunderstanding, Egbuson admits that he finds Playboy stereotypes more interesting than annoying. The actor, known for his charming screen roles, admits that his role may push assumptions, but reality is tame.
A leader who focuses on his craft
Egbuson, who plays the lead role in hits such as Elevator Baby and Breadcrumb Life, cements his position as one of the most considerable leaders in Nollywood. His revelation highlights the sacrifices behind charm, including a love life that suspends professional growth.
So, is Timini ready to mix again? For now, his focus seems to be on the lights, cameras and actions, not romance.
