A Nigerian woman, Deborah Ocheido, reveals why she “served her husband enthusiastically and prioritized his needs and well-being”.
According to Deborah, her husband praised her and verbally admitted that even doing Akara for him was even a small act of effort and service.
She wrote: “I serve my husband with serious enthusiasm and I have been looking for ways to serve my husband with serious enthusiasm. Why???????
I remember the first time I made him Akara my husband become so excited about every bite he bite and he smiled and blessed me. He blessed my mother to teach me how to make akara, he blessed my entire lineage (PS: Akara probably hits the difference because he didn’t have more than a year in Canada before I joined him)?
For me, this is what I do at my parents’ house every morning. OMO I made Akara for him for 1 month in a row. I saw me washing beans with a smile. Every little thing “Debbie Ma pa Mi Nau” is so cute.
“You wash the toilet, Kay.
Everything was praised and then I found myself looking for something to do as I waited for the light in the review on his eyes and lips.
