The wife of Mrs. Florence George Nwalk, a former Rivers State civil servant, claimed that her husband was forced to organize a press statement that he filed abominable charges against Rivers Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
Nweke, who resigned last week, claimed that the governor, whose case was suspended, ordered the bombing of the state capitol in 2023 and planned to disappoint President Tinob.
In an interview with channel TV, the wife, who could not stand the tears, said she had been unable to reach her husband since he left the river to Abuja.
According to her
“When he arrived in Abuja, he said he had landed. I said, ‘Thank God’. The next thing I saw tonight (on Friday night): People were calling me and saying he was interviewed. I said, ‘What interview? Until I flew around the internet, he was not talking about my husband.
So I sent him a message. I said, “Are you under coercion?” I sent him a message. I said, “Did they kidnapped you? Talking to me now. Why don’t you talk to me?’.
Oh Jesus, help me. Nigerian, help me. My husband is in trouble. My husband is in trouble. My husband is in trouble. My husband is in trouble. Check out the message I sent him. I saw the message I sent him.
Governor, help me. She said my husband was in trouble. He was in trouble,” she claimed her husband resigned under coercion.
Florence said her husband resigned because some put pressure on the documents he signed would suggest Forbala.
“So, he said he would resign. Instead of this Ohara (the problem) let him leave them. He has written a resignation now.”
