A resident of Ismail Bala, who confirmed to the Daily Trust on Thursday, March 13, 2025, that the incident occurred on Tuesday, at about 11:23 a.m., while she attended Tafsir with other women from the mosque in the area.
He said the deceased left the home with three neighbors and attended Tafsir with three neighbors, which was usually held during Ramadan.
He said the woman whispered in a neighbor in Tafsir that she felt dizzy and severe headaches, adding that she was about to stand up and leave the mosque when she collapsed.
According to him, some women in the mosque took her to a hospital where she was confirmed by D3AD.
“The woman attended the Tafseer, across from her home with her neighbors, when she collapsed inside a mosque and was taken to the hospital in Gawu Babangida,” the witness said.
“Unfortunately, she gave up when she arrived at the hospital.”
He said doctors who had some observations on the woman attributed her D3ath to high blood pressure.
Bala said her body was buried according to the Islamic ritual.
