Football legend Didier Drogba reacted to the racist allegations of his former club Galatasaray against his former coach Jose Mourinho.
Didier Drogba has defended Mourinho after allegations of racism filed by his former club Galatasaray.
Mourinho, who currently manages Fenerbahçe, has been the days after his statements, after the Turkish Super LIG fixture Galatasaray vs Fenerbache, ending in a raffle after his comments on the Galatasaray bench. “Jump like a monkey.”
In response, Galatasaray announced plans to take legal action against Mourinho to call them racist rhetoric. The club also said they intend to file a formal complaint with UEFA and FIFA.
This claim and position sparked different comments on social media, but what caught many attention was the post shared by Chelsea legend Didier Drogba, who worked with Mou and with Galatasaray.
His statement on social media read “Dear @galatasaraysk…you know how proud I am of Turkey’s most popular clubs and my love! We all know, I’m lucky to experience it. I’m lucky to experience it. I’m overwhelmed with you when I was at Jose of Mourinho… Come on.”
Jose Mourinho remained silent with Fenerbache, and suggested that the party avoid getting things out of the way and make the game a racial war.
