How to correct the wrong topic combination in JAMB 2025 | Deadline
The Joint Admissions and Admissions Committee (JAMB) announced that the deadline for candidates to correct candidates for the 2025 Unified Level 3 Entrance Examination (UTME) is March 3, 2025.
This announcement is crucial for candidates who may make mistakes during the registration process or need to update their topic selections to align with the required learning process.
Professor Ishaq Oloyede, JAMB’s Registrar, stressed the importance of this deadline and urged candidates to take advantage of the opportunity to make necessary corrections before the contest.
Failure to do so may result in candidates sitting on the exam, and those subjects do not meet the requirements of their chosen course, which may affect their admission prospects.
Choosing the right topic combination is a key step in the UTME registration process.
Each study course at the University of Nigeria, Polytechnic and School of Education has specific subject requirements.
For example, candidates who are eager to study medicine must have English, biology, chemistry and physics as part of their UTME subjects.
If the candidate mistakenly selects the wrong topic, they may be disqualified into their preferred institution.
