Dr. George Nweke, the former director of the Civil Service in Rivers, attributed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s declaration of a state of emergency in the state, avoiding chaos and economic destruction.

NWEKE is accused of suspending the news on Friday Siminayi Fubara Become an architect in the state’s recent political turmoil.

He claimed that the governor planned the destruction of public assets and had ulterior motives that could put the state into anarchy.

Nweke also clarified that his resignation was voluntary and not due to sacking or external pressure.

“You will remember that I was suspended by Governor Siminalayi Fubara appointed me as the head of service. Let me also use this opportunity to appreciate the opportunity he provided me with services,” he said.

“I chose to record due to a lot of misinformation on print and electronic media, I was not fired, nor was I forced to quit, and I was willing to do it from the bottom of my heart. ”

As someone who works closely with Gov. Fubara, Nweke said he felt forced to speak out because of the seriousness of the situation in the state.

“It is unfair for me to remain silent or not address some of the key factors that are affected or affecting our state, if we continue this trajectory,” he said.

He praised President Tinub’s intervention, saying that the emergency declaration (now approved by the National Assembly) was driven to prevent the worst.

He said: “If it weren’t for the president’s intervention, Nigeria would have faced the worst economic damage and the River State would have been in trouble.transparent

Nweke, narrating the events that led to the crisis, filed serious charges against Governor Fubara, claiming that the governor directed his then-staff, Edison Ehie, to burn down the River State Capitol to stop the attempts to improvise each.

“First of all, it all started with the River State Capitol,” he said.

“When I don’t know the amount inside, I’m with them when I’m with them.”

“I want to tell the Rivers today that the parliamentary complex on Moscow Road was obviously lowered by Edison Ehie under the direction of Governor Siminilayi Fubara. I challenge him to engage in an open confrontation and I will provide more revelation for that.”

Enwike said the incident almost led to his resignation, but feared revenge would make him back.

He said:The day after the incident, I almost resigned, but I was very scared because I knew the power of the current governor, and he knew I knew the whole plan. ”

He also claimed that there was a plot to destroy the residential areas of the members of parliament, which was only thwarted by strong public protests.

“If it weren’t for the press conferences held there by River Youth, River Elders and National Assembly members, they also tried to destroy the residential areas of House Members of the House of Representatives.,” former Hoth said.

According to NWEKE, Governor Forbala even regrets the commission of not demolishing another building used by members of the parliament.

He said:He told me personally that if he had known earlier, he would have gone down the hall before visiting the convention’s residential area.

“I was shocked and I asked myself how a person who wanted to lead his people to destroy his national assets and waste public funds wasting public funds in unnecessary self-fights.”

NWEKE further urged stakeholders to criticize the Urgent Declaration for reconsidering its position and insisted that the president was in the best interest of the country.

“If the president doesn’t take proactive steps, no one knows who will be affected by the sinister plan of cooking.,” he warned.

He also accused Governor Fubara of conducting dangerous political calculations related to the national election.

“One of the factors that got me removed was that Governor Fobala told me that they would use ijaws to decide who will be the next president of Nigeria and I asked him how this would work?

“He told me clearly that he was the chief security officer of Rivers State, his brother was in charge of Bielsa State, all the pipelines were cared for by them, and in due course they would tell the boys what to do and the funding was not a problem.

“That’s why when he makes this statement in public functions, I’ll tell the boy what to do when it’s right“Unlock.

Nweke called on Tinubu to actively participate in river affairs, warning that unresolved issues still pose a major threat to peace and stability in the region.
