So, do you want to launch your YouTube channel? Whether it’s for entertainment, passion or business, I’m here to tell you that if I can do it, so can you! I have over a million subscribers now and have done that in 10 years, so you can do it too. YouTube has changed my life and I will give you all the teas on how to get started right. let’s go!
1. Choose your niche (aka what would you say?)
Before anything, you need to determine what your channel means. This should be something you really like because trust me, consistency is key! Some popular niches include:
-
Lifestyle and video blog – Bring your audience!
-
Food and cooking – If you like cooking, please share your recipes!
-
Parenting and maternity – Mom, let’s talk about this journey!
-
Beauty and fashion – Makeup tutorials, tugboats, styling tips.
-
Education and operational methods – Teach people something valuable.
The key is to choose a niche that excites you so that creating content doesn’t look like trivia.
2. Create your YouTube channel
-
Log in to YouTube using your Google account.
-
Click your profile and select “Create a channel.”
-
Choose a fascinating channel name (probably your name or a unique name).
-
Upload profile pictures and banners representing your brand.
-
Write a “About” section to let people know what your channel means.
3. Plan your content (don’t just wings!)
Listen, make plans to make everything easy! Determine which video you will create. Some thoughts:
-
vlogs – Bring people behind the scenes of your life.
-
Operations and tutorials – Teach people a skill (e.g., cooking, parenting, beauty, etc.).
-
Comments and unboxing – Share your honest thoughts about the product.
-
Q&A and Story Time – Talk about personal experiences.
I love having a content calendar – it helps me stay organized and consistent!
4. Get the right device (but don’t overthink!)
Sister, you don’t need a fancy camera to get started! Just use what you have.
-
camera: Your smartphone is great! Upgrade later.
-
microphone: Sound is important. The fixture microphone works very well.
-
light: Natural light is your best friend, but ring lights can help too.
-
Editing software: Imovie (Mac), Capcut (Mobile), or Adobe Premiere Pro (if you like!).
5. Movies and editors are like professionals
-
Find good lighting (a miracle of works facing the windows!).
-
Talk clearly and naturally – don’t be shy!
-
Cut out awkward pauses, add text, and make your videos fun.
-
Use background music (royalty-free) to make it fascinating.
6. Upload and optimize YouTube searches
When uploading a video, make sure people can find it:
-
title: Use keywords (for example, “How to launch YouTube channel in 2024”).
-
Thumbnails: Striking brightness!
-
describe: Add details, timestamps, and links.
-
Label: Use relevant keywords.
7. Promote like a boss
Once your video is live, please share it anywhere!
-
Post Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, Tiktok– Where is your audience.
-
Interact with your audience – to comment and ask questions.
-
Tell people to like, share and subscribe (they need a reminder!).
8. Stay consistent and keep improving
Growth takes time, so don’t be discouraged! Publish regularly, learn from analytics, and continuously improve your content.
9. Make Money on YouTube
When you hit 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 observation hoursyou can start making money:
-
Advertising (YouTube Partner Program)
-
Brand sponsorship
-
Member Marketing
-
Sell products (e.g., e-books, merchandise)
-
Super Chat and Membership
10. start!
You’ve read all of this, what about now? Don’t overthink – just start! Your first video is not perfect either (not me either!), but the more you do, the better it will be.
