Nigeria News Nalin The report said that the National Examinations Commission (NECO) has released results outside the 2024 Advanced School Certificate Examination (SSCE) conducted from November 14 to December 14, 2024.
Professor Dantani Wushishi, NECO’s Registrar and CEO, revealed that 62,929 candidates (75.62%) received credits and above in English, while 77,988 candidates (93.93%) received credit lines in mathematics.
A total of 29 subjects were examined, with 83,220 candidates sitting in English and 83,024 candidates sitting in math.
In addition, 70,711 candidates (83.39%) received five credits and above, regardless of English language and mathematics, 6,160 candidates booked for various forms of malfeasance.
How to check results through online portal
To access your NECO 2024 Advanced School Certificate Examination (SSCE) external results, follow the detailed steps below
- Visit the official NECO results portal: https://results.neco.gov.ng.
- Purchase results check token
- If you don’t have an account, click Register and provide the details you need to create one.
- If you already have an account, please log in to your email and password.
Purchase token
- After logging in, select Buy Token.
- Please follow the prompts to complete the payment with a valid debit card.
- After the transaction is successful, the token will be available under the My Token section of your account.
- Visit the results check portal at https://results.neco.gov.ng.
- Enter your check details
- Exam Year: Select “2024”.
- Exam type: Select “SSCE External (Nov/Dec)”.
- Enter the token number you purchased.
- Enter your unique NECO exam registration number.
- Click the Check Results button and your results will be displayed on the screen.
How to check results via SMS
On your phone, type necoexamnopin*examyear (no space).
For example, if your exam number is 12345678AB, your PIN is 6864123459678, and you are checking the 2024 results, your message should look like this:
NECO12345678AB6864123459678*2024
Send the message to the official NECO result check the SMS number.
You will receive a text message containing your results.
