Nigerian singer Deborah Oluwaseyi Joshua (commonly known as Seyi Shay) revealed that she was once part of the controversial secret group Illuminati.
Her remarks sparked widespread online discussions, bringing fans’ curiosity and incredible mix.
During her appearance on the Offair podcast with Gbemi and Toolz, Hitmaker of “Yolo Yolo” announced her experience and said:
“That was when I was in the Illuminati. That was when I joined the Illuminati. That was formal. Do you understand? I am a member of the Illuminati.”
She further explained that although the public may not know, people in the entertainment industry can easily identify people related to society.
“People know who they are because, maybe if they watch this, they probably won’t remember…not fans, guys. It’s the guy who worked with me, working with her, working with that guy, working with this guy, working with this guy,” she added.
Seyi Shay’s revelation sparked a mixed reaction on social media, as some fans questioned her claims, noting that the Illuminati is often associated with fame and wealth privilege, which they believe she has not been clearly obtained.
