Actress Lizzy Anjorin and gospel singer Tope Alabi are currently in Loggerheads after the singer refuses to perform on a surprise birthday organized for lizzy.
The actress is one year older and her fan club teamed up with her husband to surprise her with a performance by gospel singer Tope Alabi, who said she was “very loving”.
The gospel singer and her husband, Soji Alabi, arrived at the costume shop in Lizzy in Lagos, but refused to perform when they found out the purpose of their visit. As the news filters on social media, users give several possible reasons why singers failed to honor Lizzy with performances.
Anjorin later talked about the incident on Instagram, noting that she could not blame Alabis for her decision. She criticized her fans for spending money at failed surprise parties rather than supporting her business.
“I don’t celebrate my birthday, and there’s only one evil person who will claim I will do it. I can’t judge their reaction, but if I invite them myself, I won’t pay them anything.”
Lizzy further stated in another video she shared that the singer could not portray herself as a holy person Lizzy. She further asked about Top’s influence over the years of singing as a gospel artist.
“I am holy than you, aunt. If we ask you what impact it has on society? I am holy than you. I have influenced your life more than you. I have E, more motivated than you. If you say you have the ability, they are the ones who feed you, not the ones in society. I did more and I added more value to society. Auntie, if I should count them all, it would take more than a year. I did a great job. I am pure. If you judge me, I am grateful that God does not judge me ”
