Minister of Territory of the Federal Capital (FCT), Bar. Nyesom Wike dismissed rumors of his collapse and was fled abroad for treatment, saying the claims were unfounded and politically motivated.
Vick said speaking in Abuja while examining the ongoing projects of the FCT.
“I don’t want to trust people who are interested in spreading rumors. First of all, I’m a person, not a ghost. If someone breaks down, it’s a person breaking down, not a ghost. Unfortunately, I’m not a broken down. I’m not showing that I have any health problems.
Let me tell you what happened. You will find that the former head of the River State Government Service comes out and let the public know what happened and how they plan to bomb the rally complex, how they plan to attack state assets… In order to shift their attention to places where people don’t pay attention, they have to carry a rumor that they have never had time to colesease. There has never been a time when someone took me to the hospital
Wick clarified that he has been active in his duties, noting that he participated in public events, including leading Abuja residents to the President’s Villa and attending the President’s Eid Festival.
The minister accused political critics of fabricating the story to divert attention from the real problems in the country and said, I will give their condolences.
