A social media influencer has defended Nollywood actress Regina Daniels amid rumors of allegations of substance abuse against her.
Sharing his experience online, he narrated how he met the actress at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja earlier this year, describing her as polite, calm and well-coordinated.
His words:
“I don’t agree that Regina Daniels is a drug addict. Maybe it’s the alcohol, but the drugs… no. I met her once at the Transcorp Hilton earlier this year. I introduced myself as a social media influencer – she was very polite and coordinated, and I’ve met a lot of drug addicts. It was easy to tell they were drug addicts.”
He added that Regina’s confidence was often misunderstood and related to her position in a polygamous marriage.
“Regina Daniels is just a very stubborn girl and when you are one of the wives in a polygamy you have no choice but to be stubborn because it could mean the difference between life and death. I disagree! Mba.”
The influencer insisted the actress should be treated with respect and dismissed the drug addiction accusations as baseless and unfair.
