    • Keke Palmer discussed her views on marriage and personal space in a recent interview.
    • The actress and singer Lauren Keyana Palmer ended her relationship with Darius Jackson in 2023.
    • A public feud between Palmer and Jackson led to the split.

Keke Palmer recently shared her thoughts on marriage and personal space in a candid interview.

The American actress and singer, whose full name is Lauren Keyana Palmer, split from her partner and co-parent Darius Jackson in 2023 following a public feud between the two. The former couple continue to co-parent their son.

During an appearance on the Today Show with Jenna Bush Hager and Shinelle Jones, Palmer revealed her vision for marriage. She expressed her preference to remain independent even after marriage. While she loves openness and connection, Palmer stresses that her personal space and alone time are non-negotiable.

The actress explained that she could share a property with her spouse but wanted to live in separate buildings. In her ideal world, her husband would stay in the guest house and she in the main house so they could maintain their privacy.

Palmer described the arrangement as fun and relaxed, joking that she could simply announce when she planned to visit her husband’s home, emphasizing how much she valued the balance between intimacy and autonomy.

    In her words:

“You could be in a hotel, and we could be on the same property, but I’m over there, and he’s over there. You could be in the hotel, and we could be on the same property, but I’m over there, and he’s over there. Imagine how much fun it would be to say, ‘I’m going to my man’s house.'” Over there, hi, hubby. ” said the actress.
