Senator Natasha Akputti-Uduagen, who represents the central Senate District of Kogi, said she has enough evidence to support the assassination claim against former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello.
Recall that Bello had requested the police’s inspector general that allegedly made a defamatory statement against him by Akpoti-uduaghan.
The petition comes as a claim by a troubled senator, former governor and Senate President Godswill Akpabio allegedly conspired to assassinate her.
In the petition, Bello urged police to invite Akpoti-uduaghan to question and forced her to provide reliable evidence to support her claims.
“Where she did not do so, she was arrested and prosecuted for criminal defamation of law, inciting public harassment and spreading false information that is harmful to public peace. ” Read the petition.
However, Victor Giwa urged Bello to allow police to perform their work in an interview with Natasha’s Punch.
“They should calm down and allow the police to do their jobs. The IGP already has a petition.
“Showing it’s more than just an allegation, Natasha has enough evidence to support her point of view,Giva said.
